SUU Campus Tour
Frontier State Park
Stage Coaches, log cabins, a huge mining shovel and a caboose are just a few of the interesting artifacts you will see from early settlers of Iron County, UT.
Main street is closed down for a car show, concert, food vendors, etc. Held in conjunction with Renaissance Fair in the Main Street Park. Takes place on Sat. July 10th. JJ website
July Jamboree
Canyon Trail
The trail follows the Coal Creek up the canyon where there are a couple of old spillways and foot bridges. Great for a casual stroll, bike ride, or run. Trails website.
Bryce Canyon
National Park
76 miles northeast of Cedar City to the main entrance to BCNP. There are many
hikes available or you can drive and park at the many viewpoints. - see BCNP website
Zion National Park
58 miles south of Cedar City to the main entrance to ZNP. Only 21 miles south is the Kolob section of ZNP. There are many short or long hikes available in the park - see ZNP website
